Sidebar – Colonial America – Inside of a small house, Mary Winfield stands in the center of the floor, slowly chanting. Beneath her feet is a circle drawn on the floor, with candles arranged in the shape of a pentagram. Suddenly, the door is forced open and in storms a group of the local church elders. They accuse Mary Winfield of being a witch. Her hands are bound and she is lead away to the prison while her house is burned to the ground.
At her trial, Mary is accused of being a witch. A number of towns people come forward, telling their stories of the witch craft Mary has performed. When asked, Mary freely admits to being a witch, feeling it is her right to worship her god in her own way. Mary is found guilty and is sentenced to be burned at the stake in the morning.
That night in her cell, Mary is visited by Tabitha Ross, who is Mary’s friend and who is also a witch. Together, the two witches flee into the wilds of North America.
Cut to modern day Columbia – April 7th, 2008. The scene continues from episode number one. The gang is looking down on Jenny Goach’s bloody corpse and formulates a plan of action. The gang decides to erase any trace of their being at the house before leaving. George and Russ install a listening device in the basement to monitor any activity while setting up shop in Russ’ van in the parking lot about 400 yards from the house. Bob, Kiki, and Zach head to the gas station and call the police to anonymously report the body in the basement.
The police show-up at the house. After two hours, the body is removed and the police leave. From the listen device in the basement, the gang learns that Lt. O’Malley shows up at the scene. On the 11:00pm news, the top story is the Jenny Goach story. The spin put on by the police and news is that Jenny died from a drug over-dose. No mention is made of the blood, words on the wall, etc.
That night, Kiki and Zach go on patrol near the mall and see a group of three Miquot demons. They follow the demons for about 45 minutes until they lose them in a wooded area. Zach goes home and Kiki reports back to Bob on her discovery and learns all about Miquot demons.
At the same time, George and Russ continue their stake out of the abandoned house. Around 10:00pm, the guys hear (via the listening device) the front door of the house open, someone walk down the basement steps. Once in the basement, it appears the person is looking around and says (a male voice) “This should be interesting.”
Russ tries to follow the person (Russ can tell it is a male humanoid figure), but loses him in the dark. Russ and George call it a night.
On Monday, Russ decides to investigate what library books Jenny Goach checked out of the school and public libraries. Bob goes to Ellicott City to meet Fred Harkin and begin the process of getting his Private Investigator’s (PI) license. Russ finds that Jenny did check out three books on witchcraft about a year ago, but the books are trash and nothing real hardcore.
Bob meets Fred Harkin and is given two huge stacks of forms to fill out for his PI license process. After about three hours, Bob is done with the forms. He hands them to Fred who in turn gives Bob an envelope with a completed PI license.
Kiki and Russ head to the bowling alley to look for any clues to the location of the Miquot demons. They question two lesser demons and discover that a group of about eight Miquot demons were seen earlier in the week around Centennial Lake.
The gang decides to patrol starting at 8:00pm. Kiki is on foot with George and Russ in one car and Bob and Zach in another car.
In the office area near the Maryland Vehicle Emissions Inspection station, Kiki encounters two Miquot demons. A fight ensues and Kiki, with the help of the gang kills the two demons. While deciding their next course of action, five more Miquot demons appear and attack the gang.
During the ensuing battle, three key events happen:
• The gang notices that the Miquot have a glowing red circular tattoo on their front left shoulder.
• The gang kills four of the five Miquot demons.
• The fifth Miquot demon grapples Bob. When this happens, the Miquot demon appears to go into a brief trance and then says out loud “I know where it is.”
The Miquot demon tosses Bob aside and begins to run in the general direction of the Columbia Mall. As Kiki turns to pursue the demon, Bob casts a lighting bolt which strikes the fleeing Miquot demon. While it does not kill the demon, it does slow him up enough for Kiki to close. In the final battle scene, Kiki kicks the demon towards a tree, impaling it on a broken tree branch. The demon looks at Kiki and says in its dying words “She comes.”
Cut to credits.
