Sometimes free things aren’t.

White Elvis Jumpsuit
TEASER An old man, obviously homeless, roots around in a trash can. He pulls something out and turns to shove it in his shopping cart when he’s accosted by a small gang of thugs. We learn that the man is Tanner Terry and his tormentors are none other than Bobby Lee Jones and his cronies. They taunt and insult him, playing keep away with what we come to learn is a white, rhinestone-studded jumpsuit that he has just pulled from the trash. Bobby Lee and friends soon grow tired of the game. Terry has the last laugh, blowing them a kiss as he escapes into the woods. The men try to give chase but soon lose the trail.
ROLL CREDITS.

In high school, there were so many rumors swirling around me that I lost track of them all. Funny thing about these particular rumors is that most of them were true.

A normal day consists of doing some training at the station, organizing and cataloging supplies, and responding to emergency calls. Most of the calls are routine, falls, sprains, broken bones, cuts, etc. but the other calls are the ones you remember and can haunt your dreams at night if you let them. Four weeks ago was one of those calls. Marissa Acevedo and I were returning to the station after treating a young girl who had fallen out of a tree and broken her arm. We got her arm splinted and stabilized and her mother calmed down to a point where she could take her to the local emergency room instead of us having to transport her. In hindsight, maybe we should have taken her and avoided what was to come.

The day after the reunion there’s plenty of fallout to go around.

Elvis Sunglasses
TEASER We see a man from behind. From his walk we can tell that he’s confident, perhaps even cocky. His jeans are new, neat. His boots are black and shiny, as is his leather jacket. His belt is wide, black, and studded. He has a thick head of dark hair.
We follow him long enough to get the impression that he’s looking for someone or something.
There’s a parking lot or similar clearing up ahead. He stops. He’s found an aquarium with a single, gasping goldfish swimming in it. He kneels down beside it, scoops the fish out with an impressively quick motion, and slurps it down. After a second, he stands and turns back the way he came. He has an evil grin on his face and wears huge, silver sunglasses with blue-tinted lenses.
ROLL CREDITS.
